What this is
- A quick trainer for real-world gratitude.
- Practice giving thanks that sticks (specific + impact).
- Practice receiving thanks (accept, don’t deflect).
Why it matters: Specific recognition builds trust, lowers stress, and teaches what “good” looks like.
How to play (fast)
- 10 rounds. A timer runs each round.
- Step 1: Drag a gratitude line (bad / good / great) from Person A onto Person B.
- Step 2: Choose how Person B receives it (bad / good / great).
- Get instant coaching and points. Great = 100, Good = 50, Bad = 0.
Tip: If the timer expires, you miss the moment—no points.
Make it specific
- Generic: “Good job.”
- Sticky: “Thanks for double-checking the numbers—you saved us from looking sloppy.”
Formula: Name the action → name the impact.
Receive it well
- Avoid: “It was nothing.”
- Better: “No problem.”
- Best: “That means a lot to me—thank you.”
Rule: Accept, then reflect. Don’t deflect.
Share tip: challenge a friend—first to 900+ wins.
