SBI Feedback — Quick Primer
SBI = Situation • Behavior • Impact. A simple way to give feedback that stays specific and fair.
The brain treats vague feedback like a threat. SBI removes the guesswork with concrete moments, observable actions, and real effects.
Pick a moment (e.g., “This morning’s 9:00 call”). Name the behavior (“you interrupted twice”). State the impact (“we missed Jordan’s input, meeting ran long”). Finish with the next step (“pause, then invite Jordan in”).
Practice by dragging the right SBI pieces into place for 5 scenarios. You’ll earn points for accuracy, lose points for guesses, and build speed under a timer. Replay to beat your best and share your score.
